Attorney Vanessa Baez

Vanessa Baez has strong ties to her Dominican heritage and deep compassion for immigration issues. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in 2015. Upon completion, she attended St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, Vanessa worked as a student representative for the St. Thomas Immigration Clinic where she helped represent low-income clients in Asylum and Cancellation of Removal cases. She also participated in various immigration pro bono projects including, but not limited to, Karnes Pro Bono Project, Somali Litigation, Broward Transitional Center Court Watching Project, and as a Florida New American Pro Bono volunteer. Her achievements led her to be awarded the Merit Scholar and the Pro Bono Service Award. In 2018, she obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Vanessa is fluent in English and Spanish and is licensed to practice by the Florida Bar Association. Her wealth of experience in family and immigration matters makes her the right choice for your legal matters.
